Testing in public schools
In cooperation with the LNS, mobile teams are currently being sent to schools where there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19. They are dispatched on the 6th day after the original infection to detect any other cases that might have spread.
The tests are being performed based on the forms that have already been sent out to parents, granting consent if their children are minors.
The telephone number on those forms will be used to contact you either via SMS if the result is negative or by phone call if it is positive, informing you of the next steps to take. The result is transmitted to you within 24 hours.
If you performed a rapid antigen test at the lux-Airport upon arrival, the results will be informed of the result within 15 – 20 minutes.
If you took a test at a Large Scale Testing test station before travelling out of Luxembourg, you will receive your result via SMS and can access your results online.
If you performed a test before travelling at the testing stations provided by the lux-Airport, you will receive your results via the online account created upon registering for the test. An e-mail will be sent to you once the result is available. For more information, visit this page.
